The library at BCSS is an inviting learning environment that recognizes and honours the dreams, goals and adventurous roads of our unique student population. A solid educational foundation that includes strong literacy skills will ensure that students reach their fullest potential as they pursue their life dreams. As literate graduates, the dreams are endless, with multiple doors and pathways from which to choose.

The library at BCSS is a state-of-the-art learning resource centre, with a combination of a variety of learning spaces to accommodate different learning styles and needs. Students have access to computers before school, at lunch, after school and during ILIP to complete assignments and conduct research through our Virtual Library online. A publishing room with computers, an iMac, a scanner and digital palmcorder is also available to support students as they take their research to the next stage of their assignment. Three media centres with televisions, DVDs and video streaming and conferencing capabilities allow us to bring the world to the students. Students also have access to our growing selection of fiction and non-fiction books, graphic novels and magazines. The library staff will be happy to assist students with their research and assignment needs.
